As today is International Babyloss Awareness day, we are taking part in the International Wave of Light this evening. As bereaved parents ourselves we join the many other parents of angels from all over the world in lighting a candle for all our angel babies who have changed our lives forever. Today we honour and remember our babies in heaven and let them know we are thinking of them always. Isabella is our daughter in the sky and we miss her so much, love you Isabella with all our hearts xox

As October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month, we as angel parents are taking part in the 'International Wave of light' event and would like to invite all our friends, family and all those who have gained an angel baby or child. 

Lets shed some light to create awareness and support to those who have walked the same path as us of loosing a child, lets honor and remember our beautiful angels in heaven, please join us by lighting a candle tomorrow (Saturday 15th October) at 7pm (GMT) for at least one hour.

Isabella's Journey

Our Isabella's Journey 

From when she was born we had no idea that she suffered from a very rare heart condition along with added complications which even the surgeons have not seen before. From smiles to tears and watching her placed into an ambulance while daddy followed her to Dublin was the hardest thing we have ever gone through as a couple. 

Once reunited again we promised that we would stay strong for our little girl and give her the best chance possible, but unfortunately this was also taken from our hands as after the hardest meeting of our lives, the doctors explained that they could not fix our baby girls heart. From this moment on we knew we had to treasure and record every moment with her. 

Our little girl is an inspiration to us, she stayed strong so she can meet her family, be christened, gave us smiles, opened her eyes, and finally last night myself and Kevin were able to spend time alone with her having lots of cuddles, kisses and making happy memories. She was on my chest when the angels picked her up and lifted her up towards heaven with her daddy by her side.

We as parents are so proud of the strength that our daughter showed, and in a matter of days she gave us everything we could possible ask for and more and for that we are truly grateful.

We are at peace and united as a family who will never leave eachothers sides and for now are little family has gained an angel xx

Our Isabella 

Welcome!

I have two children one of which gained her wings and became an angel at 6 days old. My mission is to create awareness for congenital heart disease (CHD) and promoting better screening for all ladies who are pregnant.

Our Isabella was a true heart warrior but unfortunately she could not be saved, and as we surrounded her with unconditional love she grew her wings before our eyes.

We were told she was perfect throughout my pregnancy as her heart problem was not picked up until after she was born, as our journey through this continues we have become more and more determined that we do not want any other parent to go through what we have and are still going through.

CHD is increasing and more awareness needs to be put in place along with better maternity wards equipped to recognize health problems in babies early on in the pregnancy stage to ensure proper procedures are put in place upon birth.

We want to help any other parent whos child has CHD or who is walking the same path as ourselves of loosing a child.

Our angel Isabella was sent here for a reason and I believe her story will do just that.
